Reason vs. Faith

Every human conflict, argument, or war starts with, "Hey, I got an idea."
Regardless of the "idea" involved; the ideas are based on reason or faith and dependent on awareness of being.

Without relying on faith:

1. Can you trust there is a god?

2. Can you trust there is life after death?

3. Can you trust humanity has a purpose?

Without relying on reason:

1. Can you trust there is not a god?

2. Can you trust there is not life after death?

3. Can you trust humanity has no purpose?

When one relies on faith to justify their understanding of being, they relinquish their sense of reason. When one uses reason to justify their understanding of being, they sacrifice the choice to accept as true a religious belief. Religion's function is to explain humanity's purpose for existence and all religions are dependent on faith-based truths to justify its understanding. In general, Secular, Nonreligious, Agnostic, or Atheist rely on reason to explain, negate, or understand being or non-being. The one thing both faith and reason are dependent on, in order to have the propensity to function, is a living knowing entity. The awareness of being allows one to select a faith based or reasoned understanding of being. By eliminating humanity's error factor (both relying on reason or faith to support the purpose or non-purpose for being), we have one remaining factor, the awareness of being.

The aptitude of awareness is dependent on the gift of life. One can lose life and there goes ones awareness. However, one can lose awareness and not life. The wonderful gift of life is the awareness of being.

The universe exists so it can become known and humanity is the knowing agent. This event is the highest final form within the structure of the universe. All other actions within the universe are either moving towards this event, coming from this event, or stuck in a non-motion towards this event.

Things exist within a period of time within the space required. As with all "things" it can exist, may exist, does exist, and will go out of existence. Some "things" have an ability to influence its space during its time of existence. Our universe is one of these "things." Within the space of the universe is an environment in which has the capacity to create a living knowing entity that can sustain existence long enough for this entity to "communicate" its awareness, as to the existence of the "universe" to another living knowing entity. By doing so, our universe joins the realm of the known.

Being: An object, found to exist, and has a purpose. A string found placed on a birds nest, is there anything more beautiful? The bird first must have a need for the string. A bird could not use a piece of string if the string did not exist or could not be found to exist. If the string does not exist, the bird will find a replacement because; it is not the string that the bird needs it is what the string can do. Once the string is found the purpose for the string, in the eyes of the bird, has be discovered.

It is not what the purpose is... that matters... it is what the purpose can do. Once the human (bird) finds the universe the purpose for the universe is also found. The purpose for humanity is to exist (be a bird) and the purpose for the universe is to be known to exist (be a string). Regardless how long humanity has existed or will be aware of the universe is irrelevant. Because without humanity a knowledge of any pre or post human event would be unknown and as a result meaningless unless the development is coming from an awareness event or leading to an awareness event.

"...a string found placed on a birds nest."
... amazing when you think of it...
